Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is looking for a skilled welder to plan and perform welding and fabrication tasks with an emphasis on safety. The role requires reading blueprints, interpreting measuring tools, and documenting findings for incoming jobs.

Responsibilities include welding with positioners, fabrication, preheat/post-heat operations, and equipment maintenance. A college welding degree or OSHA training plus at least 3 years of welding experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct welding and fabrication work with safety as priority.
• Weld parts using positioners and perform buildup for machining.
• Read blueprints and measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers).
• Inspect and write up for incoming jobs.
• Preheat and post heat as required; perform teardown and rebuild.
• Maintain equipment and keep workspace clean and organized.
• Follow safety protocols and report issues.
• Pre-job prep: torching, grinding, and cutting as needed.
