Job summary

Davey Tree Surgery Co. is hiring an Experienced Line Clearance Trimmer to service the Guernsey and Tuscarawas County regions, including Cambridge, Dover, and New Philadelphia. The role involves climbing, pruning, removing limbs and safely operating tools in utility tree care.

You’ll work with a crew, using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS climbing methods; a valid driver's license is required, with CDL preferred. Benefits and on‑site training accompany a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Required: valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: Commercial Driver’s License-Class A or B with Air Brake Endorsement.
• Preferred: line clearance experience or other related tree work.
• Preferred: relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law.

• Operate as an active crew member with supporting ground crew and foreperson.
