Job summary

Bright Light Medical Imaging in Arlington Heights, IL seeks an Experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a full-time, onsite role. This position provides direct patient care, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, and supports ongoing imaging workflows.

The ideal candidate holds ARDMS or RVT certification, demonstrates proficiency across abdomen/small parts, OB/GYN, vascular, and breast imaging, and can educate and guide newer technologists. CPR-BLS required.

Qualifications

• ARDMS and/or RVT certified with ultrasound experience.
• Proficient in multiple study types and protocols.
• Strong patient communication and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Document patient history prior to examinations.
• Sterilize and maintain ultrasound equipment.
• Position patients to obtain accurate images.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Record data accurately in patient chart.
• Communicate results to physicians and staff.
• Provide training to new technologists.
