A leading tax preparation company is looking for an Experienced Tax Professional to work remotely. In this role, you will conduct tax interviews, support clients, and contribute to business growth. The ideal candidate has a strong background in tax processes and experience with virtual client interactions. This position offers flexible and collaborative work opportunities alongside robust training and support.

Qualifications

• Experience completing individual tax returns.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours a week during peak tax season.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
• Experience using MS Teams and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate complex tax situations concisely via phone, email and chat.
• Experience with customer service techniques.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher.
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all IRS/state requirements.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours a week during peak tax season.
• Skill in researching information using IRS publications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients and support do-it-yourself online tax clients through virtual tools (video conferencing, phone, chat, email).
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Communicate and coordinate regularly with leaders and peers about how your remote work is impacting results.
• Grow your tax expertise.

• Ability to conduct tax interviews with clients via virtual tools.

• Skill in researching information using various tax and publication tools to understand the client’s need (i.e., IRS Publications/Instructions).
