Job summary

Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. is seeking Experienced Seasonal Tax Preparers to join our team for the upcoming tax season in Tahlequah, OK. If you enjoy helping clients, maximizing tax savings, and applying tax knowledge, we’d love to meet you.

You will prepare federal and state returns, identify deductions and credits, and deliver excellent customer service using our software. Compensation is hourly with bonuses and flexible scheduling for part-time and seasonal roles.

Qualifications

• At least one season of professional tax preparation experience; two or more preferred.
• Knowledge of individual federal and state income tax returns.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid IRS PTIN; we can assist with the application or renewal process.

As an Experienced Tax Preparer, you’ll prepare accurate federal and state tax returns, identify deductions and credits, and deliver exceptional customer service using our proprietary tax preparation software.

What We’re Looking For

• At least one season of professional tax preparation experience; two or more preferred.

Compensation: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
