Job summary

Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. is seeking experienced tax preparers for the upcoming tax season. You will prepare accurate federal and state tax returns, identify deductions and credits, and deliver exceptional customer service using our proprietary tax software.

We offer flexible scheduling with part-time and full-time seasonal positions; competitive hourly wages with bonus opportunities and telemedicine health benefits.

Qualifications

• At least one season of professional tax preparation experience; two or more preferred.
• Knowledge of individual federal and state income tax returns.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). We can assist with the application or renewal process.

As an Experienced Tax Preparer, you’ll prepare accurate federal and state tax returns, identify deductions and credits, and deliver exceptional customer service using our proprietary tax preparation software.

What We’re Looking For
