What you'll do here:

As a Seasonal Experienced Tax Preparer, you will provide expert guidance, explain, prepare, and complete accurate tax forms for clients, including multiyear, multistate, and year-end forms. You will also support IRS audits, e-file returns, and provide printed copies for client review and signing.

• Conduct face-to-face tax interviews
• Promote business growth and client retention
• Answer client calls via our call center
• Respond to tax questions and assist with future tax planning
• Process client payments and deposits
• Engage in marketing and business development
• Support team efforts and collaborate
• Mentor teammates and act as a lead when needed
• Handle sensitive, confidential information responsibly

Skills you'll bring for success:

• 2+ seasons of tax experience
• Experience with individual, trust, & partnership returns
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Successful completion of Jackson Hewitt Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
• Additional certifications (e.g., Field Instructor, Remote Support, Call Center) a plus
• Tax planning and audit support experience preferred
• CPA or Enrolled Agent license is a bonus
• PTIN Certification required
