What You’ll Do:

  1. Prepare and review individual and small business tax returns accurately and efficiently.
  2. Work directly with clients to gather documentation and explain filings.
  3. Conduct virtual or in-person client interviews professionally.
  4. Discuss and finalize returns with clients.
  5. Support audit preparation and respond to tax notices as needed.
  6. Collaborate with team members and escalate complex issues for guidance.
  7. Maintain meticulous documentation and ensure compliance with current tax laws.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in public accounting and/or tax preparation.
  2. In-depth knowledge of current federal and state tax laws.
  3. CPA or EA licensure preferred.
  4. Expertise in ProSeries, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel.
  5. High attention to detail and accuracy.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to handle high volumes and prioritize under pressure.
  8. Experience supporting audits and resolving client tax issues is a plus.
  9. Willingness to work long hours and weekends during peak season (January–April).
