What you'll do here:

As a Seasonal Experienced Tax Preparer, you will guide clients through tax forms, including multiyear, multistate, and year-end forms, and provide IRS audit support. You will handle e-filing, review returns with clients, and ensure accurate submissions.

• Conduct face-to-face tax interviews
• Drive business growth and client retention
• Respond to client inquiries via our call center
• Assist clients with tax questions and planning
• Process payments and deposits
• Participate in marketing efforts
• Support team and office priorities
• Mentor teammates and act as a lead when needed
• Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

Skills you'll bring for success:

• 2+ tax seasons of experience
• Experience with individual, trust, and partnership returns
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Successful completion of Jackson Hewitt Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (preferred)
• Additional certifications (e.g., Field Instructor, Remote Support, Call Center) a plus
• Tax planning and audit support experience (preferred)
• CPA or Enrolled Agent license (bonus)
• PTIN Certification: Yes
