Job Title

Experienced Systems Engineer – KC-767 International Tanker Program

Location

Hazelwood, MO

Position Responsibilities
  • Provide fleet support engineering for the KC‑767 International Tanker, focusing on Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) obsolescence resolution and supporting proposal development and project execution for new capabilities.
  • Exercise critical thinking and innovative problem‑solving skills.
  • Develop requirements documentation as well as test plans, procedures, and reports.
  • Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify a lifecycle‑balanced system of systems and system solutions.
  • Evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and ensure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
  • Perform analyses to optimize system architecture and develop requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment processes.
  • Resolve cross‑functional technical issues.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or an equivalent non‑US qualification directly related to the work statement.
  • 5+ years of engineering experience (e.g., electrical, mechanical, software) applied to product‑related systems throughout the product development life cycle.
  • Strong communication skills with technical personnel across multiple skill areas and functions.
  • 5+ years of knowledge of aircraft systems (e.g., navigation, avionics, fuel, hydraulics, pneumatic) including operations and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; and develop conclusions and recommendations.
  • Provide technical solutions to moderate‑scope, complex problems.
  • Assess customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements and ensure interface compatibility.
  • Receive general direction for work that is reviewed upon completion for adequacy.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired)
  • Experience with business applications.
  • Experience dealing with ITAR requirements.
  • Systems Integration Lab (SIL) experience.
  • Experience with aerial refueling systems/platforms.
  • Experience with aircraft avionics (COMM/NAV) systems.
  • Experience with civil and/or military certification or qualification.
Pay & Benefits

Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities. Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $104,550 – $141,450
