Experienced Swiss-Type CNC Setup Tech/Machining

A successful and well-established contract manufacturer is looking for an experienced Swiss-Type CNC machinist to join our team. We are also willing to train experienced Non-Swiss-Type machinists with significant turning center experience and a desire to learn Swiss-Type technology.

Professional Profile

The ideal candidate has experience working in a close tolerance/high production 3 to 8 Axis CNC Swiss-Type machining environment. This position requires the ability to perform in-process quality verifications and documentation in a process-driven, ISO-registered quality management system focused on continual improvement.

Position Requirements

• Technical Skills: Blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Measurement: Skilled in the use of all precision measurement equipment (manual and visual); proficiency in hand tools such as micrometers and digital indicators.
• Quality & Compliance: Knowledge/experience in production environments employing Statistical Process Control (SPC) for high-volume manufacturing; adherence to standard operating procedures and process flows.
• Documentation: Ability to record and document data for production and quality requirements; computer literacy required.
• Soft Skills: Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks based on production needs.
• Keyence IM: Experience with Keyence IM is a plus (willing to train).
• Software: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
