EXPERIENCED SPRAY FOAM TECHNICIAN

$27 - $33/HR + PERFORMANCE BONUS

USA Insulation of Pittsburgh is looking for a Spray Foam Technician - and we're willing to pay well for the right person.

Let’s be upfront: this isn’t any easy job.

You’ll work in attics, crawl spaces and tight areas. Some days are hot. You’ll pull hose, wear protective equipment, climb ladders and occasionally finish the day knowing you earned your paycheck.

But spray foam is also a skilled trade. A good technician understands his equipment, knows his material and takes pride in laying down a clean, consistent product. Those people are hard to find — and we believe they should be paid accordingly.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re especially interested in someone with actual spray polyurethane foam experience who can:

• Set up, operate and troubleshoot spray foam equipment
• Understand proper temperatures, pressures and material ratiosSpray a clean, consistent application
• Recognize substrate and jobsite conditions that affect the finished product
• Properly mask and protect the work area
• Maintain the gun, proportioner, hoses and related equipment
• Minimize waste and maximize material yield
• Work safely in attics, crawl spaces and other confined areas
• Lead or work effectively with a helper/crew
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors and our office

A valid driver’s license and dependable attendance are required.

DON’T HAVE SPRAY FOAM EXPERIENCE?

We’re also interested in mechanically inclined people with strong construction backgrounds who want to learn the trade.
