Job summary

Kreato Global is hiring a skilled English-Spanish Medical Interpreter to join our 100% remote LATAM team. You will perform consecutive interpretation in medical settings and support social services and financial communications.

Initially focused on OPI, there is a clear path to transition into VRI with performance-based opportunities. Applicants should have 6 months to 1 year of remote interpretation experience, C1 English, and medical interpreter certifications (EF SET/TOEFL/CAE accepted).

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of professional experience in remote medical interpretation.
• English proficiency at C1 level.
• Certifications: EF SET (4-Skill), TOEFL, or CAE.
• Medical Interpretation Certification with proof issued within the last 12 months.
• ALTA Spanish fluency: minimum score of 9.
• LanguageStat (PICSI): passing score 75-80%.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled, highly motivated English-Spanish Interpreter to join our 100% remote team in Latin America.

Initially focused on OPI, this role offers a clear pathway to advance into VRI.

You will be responsible for providing accurate, consecutive interpretation primarily in medical settings, as well as facilitating crucial communication in social services and financial contexts.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience: 6 months to 1 year minimum of professional experience in remote medical interpretation.

English Proficiency: Minimum C1 fluency.

We accept valid certifications from EF SET (4-Skill), TOEFL, or CAE.

Medical Interpretation Certification: You must provide proof of medical interpreter knowledge issued within the last 12 months.

Accepted certifications include: ALTA Spanish fluency: Minimum score of 9 required.

LanguageStat (PICSI): Passing score of 75-80% required.

Core Skills

Complete mastery of medical and customer service terminology.

Compliance

Must currently hold, or be willing to obtain, HIPAA and FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) certifications.

Background Check

Willingness to successfully complete a standard background check via email.
