Express Employment Professionals in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Temporary Shipping Clerk to support outbound shipments, packing, labeling, and inventory tasks during a paternity leave coverage.

The role requires hands-on shipping experience and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is a temporary, onsite position with competitive wages and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of shipping experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and shipping platforms.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical duties.
• Reliable, organized and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and label customer orders for shipment and local delivery.
• Use UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager to process outbound shipments.
• Review work orders and coordinate with Quality Control to prioritize shipments.
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips, checking quantities and part numbers.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and organizing incoming materials.
• Perform protective packaging (bagging, boxing, shrink-wrapping, palletizing, banding).
• Stock and organize inventory to maintain accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
• Communicate with team, management, customers, and delivery personnel to resolve shipping issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized warehouse.
• Assist with additional warehouse tasks as needed.
