As an Experienced Service Writer, you will create a world-class automotive service experience by thoughtfully assessing the wants and needs of your customers in the service department.

What you'll be working on:

• Welcome guests, assess their service needs, and coordinate vehicle repairs using Xtime and CDK.
• Support customers throughout the entire service process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
• Generate work orders, manage check-in and delivery procedures, create and explain repair estimates, monitor service progress, and keep customers informed on their vehicle status.
• Communicate with customers regarding any changes to estimates or completion times, provide clear breakdowns of costs and timelines, and obtain proper approval before proceeding with additional services.
• Guide customers on proper vehicle upkeep and the benefits of staying up to date with manufacturer-recommended maintenance, using service menus.
  
  
  

What you need to bring to the table:

• Commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience - on the phone/email, in the store, and after purchase
• 2+ year of previous Service Writer experience in a dealership
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record, DMV Check required
• X-Time and CDK experience is a plus
• Availability to work evenings and weekends
  
  
  

Salary: $36,000-$150,000/annually

• Pay is based on applicable experience and skills. This job is eligible for commissions based on individual sales metrics.
