This individual will be responsible for the effective repair of machinery and components at high levels of quality. Their work must be completed in a safe, professional, and timely manner. Based on their level of expertise, the Service Technician may work under direct supervision. This individual must be able to perform quality work efficiently and profitably, and work overtime and weekends on occasion.

Compensation: $27 - $43+ / hour

Specific Duties Include:

1. Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service equipment as assigned by the supervisor.
2. Document machine information and repairs on work orders, including parts and fluids used.
3. Maintain a clean work area and care for all shop tools, machines, and equipment.
4. Identify and communicate solutions for customer service opportunities.
5. Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment sold within the dealership's area of responsibility.
6. Follow all safety rules and regulations and adhere to company policies and procedures.
7. Present a professional image of RDO Equipment Co. to customers and the community.
8. Participate in company-sponsored training to develop skills and knowledge.
9. Engage in company communication efforts, including meetings and huddles.
10. Maintain positive relationships with peers, management, and support resources, demonstrating teamwork and customer service.
11. Perform other duties as assigned professionally and efficiently.

• Excellent mechanical skills
• Trade-specific tools, including hand and pneumatic tools
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to assemble and maintain equipment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Graduation from a related diesel technology program preferred
• Valid work authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
