Job Title: Automotive Service Technician

Company: Chapman Payson Auto Center

Location: 100 N Beeline Hwy, Payson, AZ 85541

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-5:30pm | Saturdays 8am-12pm

Pay: $23-$50 per flag hour (DOE and Certifications) plus incentives

Our Chapman Payson Auto Center location in Payson, AZ is currently seeking Automotive Service Technicians who will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs across a wide range of vehicle systems. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring customer vehicles are safe, reliable, and performing at their best. This is a great opportunity for experienced technicians looking to grow their careers in a supportive, high-performing shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C
• Perform work according to repair orders and dealership standards
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and document findings and recommendations
• Communicate additional repair needs and time estimates to Service Advisors
• Complete warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
• Accurately document all work performed

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of automotive diagnostic and repair experience required
• ASE certification preferred
• GM or Stellantis certifications are a plus
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Must have your own tools
• Valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Must live within commuting distance of Payson or be willing to relocate
