Job summary

Atlas Toyota Material Handling is hiring full-time Field Forklift Technicians to service customer material handling equipment in the Eau Claire, WI area. Initial training will be completed at the Brooklyn Park, MN shop.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, company-provided service van, uniforms, and strong career growth opportunities. Overtime is typically available and schedule is Monday–Friday with no weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical, electrical, and equipment repair skills.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Toyota and other lift trucks and material handling equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products serviced by Atlas.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely.
• Complete service repairs in a timely manner and keep the work area organized.

We are currently hiring full-time Field Forklift Technicians to support customers in the Eau Claire, WI area. We are looking for technicians with forklift and/or material handling repair experience who are ready to put their skills to work in a field service role. While the role will primarily service customer material handling equipment throughout the Eau Claire market, all new hires will complete initial training at our primary shop in Brooklyn Park, MN.Atlas Toyota Material Handling offers ongoing technical training, manufacturer certifications, and professional development opportunities to help experienced technicians continue to grow their careers in the material handling industry.

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Toyota and other makes of lift trucks and heavy-duty material handling equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacture specifications.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products sold and serviced by Atlas.
• Maintain personal technician tools and equipment for safe and efficient daily operations.
• Complete service repair assignments in timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety guidelines.
• Participate in monthly safety inspections and toolbox talks to promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a good driving record.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and equipment repair skills.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial or automotive equipment.
• A willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training.
• The ability to manage time and attendance. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can work with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• This position requires but is not limited to standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pulling, pushing, and lifting to 80 lbs., routinely 20-50 lbs.
• Field Technician Positions: Regular travel within an assigned territory is required; the ability to operate a motor vehicle is necessary for this role.
