Job summary

Atlas First Access is seeking full-time Field and Shop Forklift Technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain Toyota and other lift trucks. You will perform preventive maintenance and stay current with product knowledge while using dedicated tooling and a company van for field visits.

The role offers a Monday-Friday daytime schedule with overtime potential, included health benefits, and uniforms. Training and certifications are provided to support career growth in material handling.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical and electrical repair skills.
• Experience with industrial or automotive equipment.
• Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Toyota and other makes of lift trucks.
• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products serviced by Atlas First Access.
• Maintain personal technician tools and equipment for safe daily operations.
• Complete service repair assignments in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Participate in monthly safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are currently hiring full-time Field and Shop Forklift Technicians. Forklift experience is preferred, but automotive, diesel, farm equipment, heavy equipment, and industrial mechanics are encouraged to apply. What You’ll Do Day-to-Day:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Toyota and other makes of lift trucks and heavy-duty material handling equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacture specifications.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products sold and serviced by Atlas.
• Maintain personal technician tools and equipment for safe and efficient daily operations.
• Complete service repair assignments in timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety guidelines.
• Participate in monthly safety inspections and toolbox talks to promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a good driving record.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and equipment repair skills.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial or automotive equipment.
• A willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training.
• The ability to manage time and attendance. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can work with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• This position requires but is not limited to standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pulling, pushing, and lifting to 80 lbs., routinely 20-50 lbs.
• Field Technician Positions: Regular travel within an assigned territory is required; the ability to operate a motor vehicle is necessary for this role.
