Job summary

Route 128 Honda in Reading, MA is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to be the primary contact for customers throughout their service experience, delivering exceptional service and driving service sales.

This fast-paced role emphasizes accurate documentation, warranty processing, clear communication, and teamwork with technicians, parts staff, and management to ensure timely repairs and high CSI/NPS scores.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Automotive Service Advisor experience.
• Experience using CDK.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
• Strong sales ability and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and perform comprehensive vehicle walk-arounds using dealership technology.
• Create repair orders and accurately document customer concerns using CDK.
• Review maintenance recommendations, recalls, service campaigns, and previously declined services.
• Utilize myKarma to communicate with customers and drive retention efforts.
• Provide regular updates to customers through phone, text, and email.
• Present maintenance and repair recommendations professionally and confidently.
• Monitor repair progress to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts personnel to facilitate efficient repairs.
• Process warranty and extended warranty claims as needed.
• Document declined repairs and create follow-up opportunities.
• Educate customers on the importance of preventative maintenance.
• Consistently achieve sales goals, customer retention objectives, and CSI and NPS targets.
