Job summary

Muddy Chicken in Burnsville, MN is seeking a Front of House team member for part-time shifts. You will guide guests through the menu, take orders, and deliver attentive service. Training is provided to enhance menu knowledge and beverage offerings while you grow with the team.

Greet guests, handle the POS, verify IDs, and support the team with side work and opening/closing duties. Must be able to lift up to 50 lb and work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of serving experience in a tavern or full-service restaurant preferred.
• Valid alcohol-service certification where required by state or local law.
• Strong knowledge of menu, beer, wine, and cocktails (training provided).
• Friendly, attentive, and able to multitask under pressure.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lb and be on their feet for 8 hours or more per shift.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus, and provide informed recommendations.
• Take and enter orders accurately on the POS; communicate special requests and allergies.
• Deliver food and beverages, check back on tables, and pre-bus throughout service.
• Process payments and handle tickets with accuracy.
• Verify IDs and follow all responsible alcohol-service practices.
• Support team with side work, opening/closing duties, and silverware rolling.
