Job summary

A-1 Fleet Door Services Inc is seeking a Senior/Lead Commercial Overhead Door & Fire Door Technician to take a leadership role in our commercial service operation. This experienced professional will work independently, lead and train technicians, troubleshoot complex door systems, and manage jobs from start to finish while building relationships with commercial customers.

We are a smaller established NH-based company looking for the right candidate to help develop our commercial customer

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial overhead door experience.
• Strong rolling steel and fire door experience.
• Ability to independently diagnose and complete complex service calls.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial overhead door service, repair and installation projects
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues
• Perform preventative maintenance on commercial door systems to ensure safe and reliable operation
• Service high-speed doors, dock levelers and related equipment
• Lead and train other technicians in the field
• Respond to service calls and complete repairs efficiently with minimal disruption to customers
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals
• Maintain accurate service records, parts inventory, and work orders
• Communicate professionally with commercial clients on-site regarding repairs and recommendations

A-1 Fleet Door Services Inc is seeking an experienced Senior/Lead Commercial Overhead Door & Fire Door Technician to take a key role in our commercial service operation. We are looking for a seasoned professional who can work independently, lead and train technicians, trouble shoot complex door systems, manage jobs from start to finish, and build strong relationships with commercial customers. The ideal candidate will also recognize opportunities for additional service, preventative maintenance, and new commercial accounts.

• Lead commercial overhead door service, repair and installation projects
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues

• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems effectively
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
• Comfortable working at heights and in physically demanding environments
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and time management skills
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently in the field
• Ability to build relationships with commercial customers and identify new service, repair, and preventative maintenance opportunities
