Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking an Experienced Security Officer to join our team in St. Paul, MN. This part-time role involves monitoring premises, enforcing safety regulations, and performing access control across client sites.

Flexible weekend and evening schedules are available. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong customer service skills. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, and all candidates will undergo pre-employment

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of security experience.
• Must be able to work independently and remain calm in stressful situations.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening (drug screen and 10-year background).
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Provide customer service and information to client’s employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices during shift.
• Conduct property tours.
• Carry out tasks of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Experienced Security Officer - Part Time

Primary Location: St. Paul, MN

Wage Range: $21.90-$25.25/HR

Available Schedules:

• Sat - Sun: 1400 - 2200
• Fri: 0830 - 1730 & Sat: 0830 - 1330
• Sun - Thurs: 2200 - 0600 (Temp)

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including a urinalysis drug screen and a 10 year background investigation.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of security experience.
• Previous law enforcement / military experience preferred.
• CPR and FA certification.
