Alloy Enterprises is seeking an experienced Security Installer IV to install and program integrated security fire systems for commercial clients onsite. You will work with a team, ensure safety, and follow wiring diagrams to meet project specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Some technical school training is a plus.
• 4–7 years electrical/electronic equipment experience with mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to operate a fleet vehicle safely.
• Ability to communicate and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install and program on-site integrated security fire and security systems for commercial customers.
• Dismantle and reconstruct equipment as required by customers or project scope.
• Coordinate installations with police/fire departments and compliance records.
• Coach and mentor less experienced installers on larger projects.
• Follow schematic wiring diagrams and hookup procedures.
• Test system operation and confirm transmission to the monitoring center.

What you will do

• As a critical part of the team, the Commercial Installer works onsite with our commercial customers to set up and program their Integrated Security fire and security systems. The Commercial Installer also dismantles and reconstructs equipment when necessary.

How you will do it

• Installs appropriate devices; dismantles and reconstructs equipment as required by customer or Tyco Integrated Security.

• Works safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials and cleans up installation debris.

• Contacts customers prior to the date of scheduled installation to verify schedule.

• Prepares estimates in accordance with prescribed instructions or directions of supervisor.

• Follow proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures.

• Tests operation of system to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service.

• Reads building, electrical and sprinkler blueprints as required.

• Coordinates installations with police/fire departments and handles necessary records for notification of emergency calls.

• May manage installation teams on larger projects.

• Coach and mentor less experienced installers.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $26.92-$37.01 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
