Job summary

Independence TX. LLC in Strasburg, OH is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for our sand processing plant. This role focuses on keeping production equipment running, with 12-hour shifts and 4 days on/off.

You’ll perform welding, mechanical repairs, and electrical tasks across a range of systems in a heavy industrial setting, including conveyors, gearboxes, and pumps. Prior experience in frac sand or similar plants is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of welding or mechanical maintenance experience.
• Plant maintenance experience in heavy industrial processing facilities (sand, aggregate, mining, cement, asphalt, concrete).
• Knowledge of arc welding and cutting torch use.

Responsibilities

• Construct and assemble new sand plants, and support maintenance and repair through commissioning.
• Perform welding, fabrication, mechanical repairs, electrical work, plumbing, hydraulic repairs, boiler maintenance, and air system servicing.
• Maintain and repair feed systems, conveying systems, scrubber systems, shaker systems, and classifying systems.
• Maintain discharge hopper systems, weigh systems, central mixer systems, drive systems, and structural systems.
• Maintain water, air, and electrical systems, crushers, hydraulic systems, and recycling systems.
• Perform bearing, gearbox, and electric motor changes.
• Perform belt splicing and repair.
