Job summary

OU Health is seeking an Experienced RN for the Yukon Emergency Department. This PRN Night shift role requires a nursing degree, current RN license, and at least 1 year of patient care experience.

The RN will provide high-quality hospital care, document patient responses, support physicians, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and ensure safe patient care while collaborating with the care team. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• 1+ year of patient care experience as an RN.
• Current RN license (OK state or compact)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides high quality patient care in hospital setting.
• Documents patient responses and updates orders.
• Assists physicians in exams and minor procedures.
• Monitors patients' physiological data and intervenes as needed.
• Administers medications and manages IV infusions and blood products.
• Delivers safe, competent care and effective communication with patients/families.
