Job summary

OU Health is seeking an Experienced RN for the Yukon Emergency Department on weekend days PRN. The RN provides high-quality hospital care, documents patient responses, assists physicians, administers medications, and monitors infusions.

This role emphasizes collaboration, patient safety, and adherence to OU Health values. Minimum qualifications include an RN license (Oklahoma or eNLC) and 1+ year of patient care experience, with BLS on hire.

Qualifications

• RN with current licensure to practice in Oklahoma or multistate license (eNLC).
• Experience in hospital patient care, especially in ED settings.
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Care for assigned patients under supervision and collaborate with physicians.
• Document patient responses and changes in orders accurately.
• Assist with examinations and minor procedures as needed.
• Administer medications and monitor infusions and blood products.
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning.
