GBMC HealthCare in Towson, MD is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care under general supervision. An ADN, Maryland RN license, and BLS are required, with 2 years RN experience in the specialty area or LPN with director approval.

Strong communication, planning, and computer skills are essential. The role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, document meticulously, and support patient and family education.

Formación

• Associates degree in nursing (ADN) required.
• Two years RN experience in the specialty area or LPN with director approval.
• Current Maryland RN license.
• BLS certification; additional certifications (ALS/PALS/NRP) required upon hire for specialty areas.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in developing nursing care plans and documenting care.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and diagnose patients; compile database and determine priorities.
• Plan, update, and coordinate written care plans with care teams.
• Implement nursing care, administer medications and IV therapy.
• Communicate patient status and care plan to physicians and staff.
• Coordinate daily patient assignments and manage priorities.
• Provide patient education and support for families.
