Job summary
Duke Careers is seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Cardiac Stepdown unit at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC. The role requires graduating from a BSN/ADN program and active North Carolina RN licensure, with at least one year of pediatric stepdown experience.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN), or Nursing Diploma program.
- Current RN licensure in North Carolina or a compact state.
- BLS Certification.
- At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Plan and provide professional nursing care in accordance with medical and nursing plans of care and established policies and procedures.
- Delegate tasks and supervise the activities of licensed and unlicensed care providers.
- Serve as team leader or charge nurse for a group of patients or an entire unit as assigned.
- Participate in professional development, precepting, and performance improvement activities.
- Maintain the environment of care and perform other related duties as assigned.
