Job summary

Samaritan is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the SSU/PACU. This part-time, day-shift role includes caring for patients, coordinating care, and supervising other staff. The position offers an up to $7,500 sign-on bonus and requires WA RN licensure with BLS completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, documentation, care planning, and ensuring safety standards. On-site work with a supportive team environment and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Washington State RN Licensure.
• HCP/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessment/data collection for physiologic, psychosocial and cognitive status.
• Implements care using nursing process with plan-of-care adherence.
• Directs and oversees care by delegating and supervising other caregivers.
• Documents in EMR per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Maintains safety and infection control practices.
• Possibly functions as Charge Nurse to coordinate staff coverage.
