Job summary

ADT is seeking a Residential Service Technician to troubleshoot and service security systems for homes and businesses. You will diagnose issues, read wiring diagrams, and coordinate with the care center to report system status and inspection updates.

Responsibilities include locating damaged equipment, readjusting or replacing components, reading blueprints, and coordinating with police or fire departments as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• NICET Level 3 Certification preferred.
• Minimum 8 years experience installing and inspecting/repairing ADT or comparable product.

Responsibilities

• Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring.
• Readjust equipment, repair or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation.
• Read blueprints, building and electrical plans to complete equipment repairs.
• Prepare trouble order forms to report temporary repairs.
• Coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies.
