Cardinal Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join a team that values craftsmanship and customer care in Wisconsin. Expect hands-on work diagnosing and repairing residential systems, from furnaces to air quality equipment, with opportunities for growth and training.

This role emphasizes on-site service, safe operation, and delivering an exceptional customer experience while meeting service and revenue goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR.
• Availability for on-call rotation.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC diagnostics, airflow, refrigeration principles, and electrical troubleshooting.
• EPA certification preferred.
• Knowledge of local HVAC codes and industry best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and testing on furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, mini-splits, and IAQ equipment.
• Navigate crawlspaces and attics as needed.
• Educate customers and present repair and maintenance options.
• Meet and exceed service and revenue goals.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience that builds trust.
• Mentor apprentices and participate in training sessions.
• Complete invoices, timecards, and documentation accurately and on time.
