MedStar Health’s Washington Hospital Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse for the Labor and Delivery unit. You will provide skilled, compassionate care from routine to complex cases, assessing evolving patient conditions and developing appropriate care plans in collaboration with the nursing team.

The role requires an active MD RN license (or Compact state) and BLS for Healthcare Providers. The unit features 14 L&D beds, 3 OR suites, and private rooms, with relocation support and tuition

Unit Highlights

• The Labor and Delivery Unit consists of 14 beds, 3 OR suites and 8-bed triage beds.
• It is part of our Certified Baby Friendly Women's Health Unit.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

This position has a hiring range of

USD $38.14 - USD $60.34 /Hr.
