Job summary

Akerman LLP seeks a Real Estate Attorney with at least four years of transactional real estate experience representing homebuilders, master-planned community developers, multifamily and mixed-use developers, commercial property owners, and other sophisticated real estate clients.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in contract negotiation and drafting, title and survey review, contract administration, and closing matters.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in GA, FL or NC depending on office location.
• Minimum four years of transactional real estate experience.
• Experience representing homebuilders, developers, and commercial owners.
• Strong negotiation, drafting, and closing skills.
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple matters.

Responsibilities

• Represent national real estate clients on transactional matters.
• Negotiate and draft contracts.
• Review title and surveys; manage contract administration.
• Assist in closing transactions.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
