Job summary

Akerman LLP seeks a Real Estate Attorney with at least four (4) years of transactional real estate experience representing homebuilders, master-planned community developers, multifamily and mixed-use developers, commercial property owners, and other sophisticated clients. The attorney will join a team working on national matters and may be full-time or part-time (hourly).

The position may be based in Florida, Atlanta, or Charlotte offices; Orlando or Tampa is preferred. A J.D.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school required.
• Active admission to practice in GA, FL, or NC depending on office location.
• Minimum of four (4) years of transactional real estate experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in transactional real estate matters from contract to closing.
• Negotiate and draft real estate contracts and related documents.
• Review title, survey, and other due diligence materials.
• Assist in contract administration and closing processes.

Akerman LLP seeks a Real Estate Attorney with at least four (4) years of transactional real estate experience representing homebuilders, master-planned community developers, multifamily and mixed-use developers, commercial property owners, and other sophisticated real estate clients, to join a team of attorneys, paralegals, and staff working on national client matters. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in contract negotiation and drafting, title and survey review, contract administration, and closing matters. Further, the candidate should enjoy working in a team environment, and have strong organization and communication skills. This is a non-partnership track position that may be full-time or part-time (hourly), with the opportunity for advancement based on performance. The position may be based in any of the Firm's Florida, Atlanta, or Charlotte offices; however, Orlando or Tampa is preferred. Candidates must possess a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and be admitted to practice in Georgia, Florida or North Carolina, depending on office location.
