Description
Will-Mor Manufacturing is an AS9100-approved manufacturing organization in Southern New Hampshire that specializes in complex machining and fabrication for the Defense and Aerospace industries.
We are seeking an Experienced Quality Manufacturing Engineer, with at least 2 years of experience, to join our engineering team. This role will be the interface between engineering and production.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and improving manufacturing processes, including but not limited to improving process documentation, cycle time reduction, setup reduction, tool life, and fixtures and gages.
- Determine MRB disposition and create rework instructions and corrective actions as needed.
- Work with Outside Vendors to monitor and improve performance.
- Create and implement continuous improvement projects, including 5S and lean projects.
- Proactive implementation of corrective and preventative actions with documented closure.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Ability to use CAM, solid modeling, and 2d drafting software. Experience with Siemens NX software is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of CNC machining, programming, cutting tools, and machine setup.
- Ability to read manufacturing drawings and understand GD&T.
- Knowledge of welding, brazing, heat treating, and plating is a plus.
- Successful candidates would have a BS in mechanical or manufacturing engineering. Willing to offer on-the-job training
