Job summary

Elements Hospitality is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager for a full-time, remote role, with Hawaii/Oahu preference for local proximity. The position focuses on planning, executing, and delivering hospitality construction projects while nurturing client relationships and meeting project goals.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of PM experience in commercial construction/renovation, with PMP/CMP or related certifications preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years’ experience in project management or related role in commercial construction/renovation.
  • PMP, CMP or other PM certification desired.
  • LEED, OSHA 30, and LEAN 6 Sigma desired.
  • Competency in reading building plans and plan management.
  • Experience implementing process strategies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore PM, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee budgets, schedules, and quality control, ensuring projects meet timelines and expectations.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through reporting, conferencing, and on-site visits.
  • Collaborate with project teams, vendors, subcontractors, and Elements staff to achieve project success.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets to ensure financial timelines.
  • Manage RFI and submittal processes and communicate proactively with team and clients.
  • Keep track of key project documents and provide updates for forecasting and invoicing.
  • Communicate project goals, progress and challenges clearly to stakeholders.
  • Maintain a positive, service-focused mindset and support the team and clients.
  • Foster collaboration and uphold ethics and integrity in all activities.
  • Demonstrate organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

This position is a remote position located in Hawaii, Oahu area preferred.

Position Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee budgets, schedules, and quality control, ensuring projects meet customer timelines and expectations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years’ experience in project management or related role in the commercial construction/renovation industry, national hospitality experience a plus.
  • Hotel PIP’s, specs and knowledge preferred.
  • PMP, CMP or other PM specific certification desired.
  • LEED, OSHA 30, and LEAN 6 Sigma desired.
  • Competency and solid experience in reading building plans and plan management.
  • Experience implementing process strategies.
  • Understands and reflects Elements MIGs (Partnerships, Culture, Risk Management, Deliverables) and company culture.
  • Self-management and drive are key to success in this position.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Procore PM certification suite, MS Project certification, Bluebeam University, and Excel Associate(MOS).
  • Ability to work closely and cooperatively with others. Relationship building and retention mastery.
  • Competency in building and effectively managing interpersonal relationships at all levels.
  • Proficient and effective communicator with high attention to detail.
