Role Description The Experienced Press Brake Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Bloomer, WI. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting press brake machines to bend and form metal components according to production drawings and specifications. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints, selecting proper tooling, performing test runs, and making precise adjustments to ensure accurate bends and dimensions. The operator will inspect finished parts for quality, record production data, and collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet schedule and safety requirements. The role also involves basic troubleshooting of equipment issues, maintaining a clean work area, and following all company safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

  • Strong press brake and general machine operation skills, including setup, adjustment, and safe use of metal fabrication equipment.
  • Experience with quality control practices, including dimensional checks, visual inspections, and documentation of results.
  • Troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve basic mechanical or process issues affecting machine performance or part quality.
  • Familiarity with production-related printing or labeling processes, and pre-press or part preparation tasks as they relate to fabrication workflows.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established procedures and regulations.
  • Previous experience as a press brake operator or in metal fabrication preferred; vocational training or technical coursework in manufacturing is a plus.
  • Reliable attendance, ability to stand for extended periods, and capability to lift materials as required by the role.
