Job summary

Oliver Hospitality Payroll is seeking an experienced Prep Cook in Clarksville, TN for full-time hours. You will prepare ingredients, follow recipes, and assist in various kitchen duties to deliver high-quality dishes efficiently.

Requirements include at least 3 years of cooking experience (fine-dining preferred), clear communication, and the ability to operate kitchen equipment. Must meet safety and sanitation rules and be eligible to work in the USA.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cooking experience preferred.
• Fine-dining preparation experience preferred.
• Clear and polite communication skills with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and follow recipes according to how they’re written.
• Consistently providing quality food preparation and service
• Providing speed, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen, prep and dish areas, and equipment
• Understanding and proper use of recipes and kitchen equipment
• Maintaining Health Department cleanliness and safety standards
• Adhere to established storage and waste control standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products to ensure quality food is served.
• Keep all workstations, counters, cooking equipment, and refrigerators clean and sanitary according to health and safety rules.
• Set up cooking stations and fill them with all the essential preparation items for a shift.
