Qualifications

• Must be a citizen of the United States or a resident alien who is legally authorized to work in the United States.
• High School graduation or GED or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age at time of appointment.
• Must possess or obtain a valid Idaho Driver’s License by date of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Patrol & traffic enforcement, investigate criminal activity, gather evidence and prepare reports.
• Respond to calls for service, assist distressed citizens, and maintain public safety.
• Conduct investigations, interviews, and present evidence in court as required.
• Engage in community outreach and public relations to educate residents and promote department image.
• Oversee school/ campus safety programs and deliver relevant presentations.
