Job summary

Hollywood Casino St. Louis is seeking a table game dealer to provide accurate dealing at assigned tables and ensure fair and prompt payouts.

You will work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, handling chips, cards, and money with precision. Applicants must be 21 or older with prior poker experience, pass a basic math test and audition, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Prior poker experience required.
• Must be able to pass a basic math test and an audition.
• Must be able to quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations for winners/losers and payouts.
• Good manual dexterity for handling chips, cards and money.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate dealing at assigned table games (Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Poker, Baccarat and variants).
• Follow game procedures and adhere to policies and state regulations.
• Ensure accurate chip and cash transactions and prompt payout of bets.
• Maintain game security and protect casino assets at all times.
• Assist customers in understanding game rules and policies.
• Deliver superior customer service in line with company standards.

• Applicant must be at least 21 years of age

• Must be able to successfully complete a basic math test, and pass an audition displaying adequate Poker skills
• Must be able to quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations when determining winners and losers and collecting and paying out bets
• Must possess good manual dexterity for quick and accurate handling of chips, cards and money
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers and guests in fast-paced environment
• Good oral and written communication skills, must be fluent and literate in English
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and mobility to move easily around pit area as well as entire property for entire shift
• Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues with excellent peripheral vision
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds and air quality
