S&S Plumbing Contractors in Converse, Texas is seeking an Experienced Plumbing Apprentice for service or new construction roles. Qualifications

• Previous plumbing apprentice experience on new construction or service.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Bobcat or similar equipment experience is a plus.
• Able and willing to perform physical labor.
• Willingness to learn from Journeyman and Master Plumbers.
• Dependable transportation and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Support water, gas, sewer, and septic work.
• Perform physical labor as needed on job sites.
• Identify repair and replacement needs.
• Prepare materials for jobs to run smoothly.
• Operate tools and equipment safely for plumbing tasks.
• Assist with excavation and underground work as required.
• Keep company trucks and inventory organized and clean.

What You'll Be Doing

Under the supervision of a Journeyman or Master Plumber, the Plumbing Apprentice assists with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems for our new construction and/or service operations.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems and fixtures
• Assisting with water, gas, sewer, and septic systems
• Performing physical labor associated with plumbing and construction
• Helping identify repair and replacement needs
• Gathering and preparing materials needed to complete jobs efficiently
• Operating tools and equipment safely
• Assisting with excavation and underground plumbing work
• Maintaining company trucks, tools, and truck inventory
• Keeping job sites clean, organized, and safe
• Following instructions from Journeyman and Master Plumbers
• Learning proper plumbing methods, codes, and safety procedures
