S&S Plumbing is hiring a Plumbing Apprentice for both new construction and service work in the San Antonio area. The ideal candidate has current plumbing apprentice registration, a valid driver’s license, and a strong willingness to learn and grow with the team.

We value hands-on learners ready to work from day one, with a focus on safety, reliability, and long-term career development in plumbing. Bobcat/equipment experience is a plus, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Current TSBPE Plumbing Apprentice Registration/Card.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Previous plumbing/construction experience preferred.
• Able and willing to perform physical labor.
• Dependable transportation and reliable attendance.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from Journeyman/Master Plumbers.
• Must pass a drug test.
• Must be dependable and ready to work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems for new construction and service work.
• Work under supervision of Journeyman or Master Plumber.
• Gather and prepare materials needed to complete jobs efficiently.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively.

What You'll Be Doing

Under the supervision of a Journeyman or Master Plumber, the Plumbing Apprentice assists with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems for our new construction and/or service operations.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems and fixtures
• Assisting with water, gas, sewer, and septic systems
• Performing physical labor associated with plumbing and construction
• Helping identify repair and replacement needs
• Gathering and preparing materials needed to complete jobs efficiently
• Operating tools and equipment safely
• Assisting with excavation and underground plumbing work
• Maintaining company trucks, tools, and truck inventory
• Keeping job sites clean, organized, and safe
• Following instructions from Journeyman and Master Plumbers
• Learning proper plumbing methods, codes, and safety procedures
• Performing other plumbing-related duties as assigned
