American Leak Detection is seeking an experienced plumber to join our field team in the Bakersfield, CA and High Desert, CA. Ideal candidates are independent, mechanically inclined and comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions.

Duties include slab and main line repairs, pool/spa work, leak testing and reporting. We offer a company vehicle, tools, comprehensive training, and benefits such as medical, dental, paid vacation, sick time and holidays.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with experience using power tools.
• Willingness to learn new technology.
• Pool plumbing experience and ability to swim are advantageous.
• Outdoor work in varying conditions.
• Flexible schedule including nights/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform slab and main line repairs for residential and commercial customers.
• Perform manifold testing, partial bypasses and whole house reroutes.
• Perform pool/spa repairs including under deck pot repairs and skimmer replacements.
• Perform patch back of cement slabs and pool deck surfaces repairs.
• Install water monitoring systems and water shut off systems.
• Learn and master underground leak detection/location.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service and communicate with team members/managers.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Submit electronic reports and photos of the services performed.
