Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of piledriverman experience in heavy civil construction.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Strong safety knowledge and practices; willing to follow PPE and site rules.
• Ability to work independently and in team; physically able to lift and work in weather.
• Valid driver’s license preferred; OSHA 10/30 certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate pile-driving equipment (hydraulic, vibratory hammers, leads) per plan.
• Interpret blueprints and construction plans to locate piles.
• Maintain and assist with assembly of pile-driving equipment.
• Set and align piles to specified plumb and grade.
• Monitor equipment performance and adjust as needed.
• Communicate with crew, supervisors, and other trades.
• Follow safety regulations and wear PPE.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and report major malfunctions.
• Participate in pre-job safety briefings and daily toolbox talks.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
