Job summary

UCI Health in Irvine, CA is seeking a Physical Therapist II to deliver a full range of PT services, including evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions and discharge planning across ambulatory care settings.

The ideal candidate holds a California Physical Therapy License (or eligibility), has a minimum of five years’ licensed experience, strong English communication, and willingness to travel to clinics and campus offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapy License or proof of eligibility from California Board of Physical Therapy
• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a licensed physical therapist
• If assigned to work with infants and children aged 0 to 21, CCS paneling/approval will be required within one year of hire if qualified for CCS paneling requirement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to travel to clinics, and other campus offices as determined by patient and scheduling needs
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
