Job summary

Madison Core Laboratories in Florence, Alabama is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join their team. The role involves collecting blood and specimen samples efficiently and accurately, and requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently collect blood and specimen samples based on facility needs.
• Identify patients and their personal information using a form of ID and/or medical records.
• Ensure quality and quantity of collected samples.
• Label samples correctly and send or deliver for testing.
• Answer related patient questions and provide useful information.
• Adhere to all health and safety standards while working in the facility and/or traveling.
• Follow instructions and other duties as directed by supervisor.
