Job summary

Madison Core Laboratories is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to support collections across multiple Alabama locations. The role requires travel between facilities and a flexible schedule to meet patient needs.

The candidate should have at least 3 years of phlebotomy experience, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and may hold a phlebotomy certification. A clean motor vehicle record is required, with shifts typically from early morning to late afternoon.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; clean motor vehicle record required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently collect blood and other specimen samples based on facility and patient needs.
• Verify patient identity and personal information using appropriate identification and/or medical records.
• Ensure the quality and appropriate quantity of all collected specimens.
• Properly label, handle, prepare, and transport specimens for laboratory testing.
• Respond professionally to patient questions and provide information regarding collection procedures.
• Maintain a compassionate and professional approach when interacting with patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Adhere to health, safety, infection-control, and laboratory standards while traveling between locations.
• Maintain reliability and effective time management while completing mobile routes.
• Follow supervisor instructions and perform other duties as assigned.
