Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Gallatin, TN is seeking a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens and support lab operations. Workload includes drug screens, biometric screenings and insurance exams, with focus on accuracy and patient care.

The role is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a pay range of $20.00+ per hour. A high school diploma is required; three years of phlebotomy experience is expected, and phlebotomy certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures. Includes drug screens, biometric screening and insurance exams.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data as required.
