You will process prescriptions, verify insurance claims, and support pharmacists in daily tasks while delivering friendly, accurate service to patients. The role offers growth opportunities in a locally owned independent pharmacy with a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Active West Virginia Pharmacy Technician Registration (or ability to obtain).
• Previous pharmacy technician experience required.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy workflow and insurance processing.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, motivated, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Enter prescriptions and process insurance claims.
• Assist pharmacists with daily workflow.
• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and insurance companies.
• Answer phones and provide outstanding customer service.
• Assist with inventory management and medication ordering.
• Support medication packaging, compounding, and delivery programs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.

Pay

Starting at $17.00 per hour, with higher pay available based on experience.

Schedule

• Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Most team members work 1–2 closing shifts per week
• Rotating Saturdays from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
• Sundays and major holidays off
